Persuasion doesn’t happen by chance. Because being persuasive is the result of the supplier’s capability to deliver what the customer needs and requires multiplied by how well they position themselves (the strength of the reasons and arguments for choosing them multiplied by their ability to communicate them), it becomes possible to see how the supplier can take a number of steps to persuade the customer to buy from them.
These steps are a business process the supplier can learn and apply to help they become more persuasive. The process itself has six steps: Communication Objective, Meeting Goal, Story Plan, Content, Style and Language and Pitch and Presentation.
